Celanese sells off Pemeas

Celanese has sold its stake in fuel-cell-technology company Pemeas to Pemeas' other shareholders. Celanese had sold much of Pemeas in 2004 to private equity firms. Then last year, Celanese announced its intention to divest the rest of its shares. Also last year, Celanese sold to InterTech its business in polybenzimidazole, the polymer used in Pemeas' proton-exchange membranes.
