Total Petrochemicals will end thermoplastic rubber production at its site in Antwerp, Belgium. The shutdown will mean the loss of 134 jobs in Antwerp and 10 in Brussels. Total says its elastomers business remains uneconomical, despite refocusing its sales efforts in Europe and studying possible partnerships.
