InnoCentive names new chief executive

The scientific problem-solving website InnoCentive has named Dwayne Spradlin as its new president and CEO. He succeeds Alpheus Bingham, an InnoCentive cofounder, who will join the company's board of directors. Spradlin previously worked for the business information company Hoovers. InnoCentive says more than 110,000 scientists are members of its problem-solving network.
