Microbia sets R&D with DuPont

Microbia's Precision Engineering unit has formed an R&D program with DuPont's central R&D lab. The firms say they will work together to develop an economical biomanufacturing route to an unidentified chemical currently made from petrochemical raw materials. DuPont will fund the effort and may make performance-based payments to Microbia.
