Rhodia Will Acquire Grace Catalyst Unit

Rhodia has agreed to acquire W.R. Grace's business in alumina wash coats for about $20 million. With annual sales of about $27 million, the business makes catalysts for use in automotive emissions control systems. Rhodia says the business complements its own rare-earth products for emissions control. Grace put the business up for sale in November.
