Hercules Buys Brazilian Firm ...

Hercules has acquired Logos Química, a São Paulo, Brazil-based provider of services and chemicals for the pulp, paper, and coatings industries. The firm employs 100 people and had 2007 annual sales of $17 million. Hercules CEO Craig A. Rogerson says the business is a good fit with his firm's pulp ventures business and strengthens its position in high-growth Latin American markets.
