AkzoNobel has launched a paint spray gun with an array of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes. The company says that the gun can apply its Sikkens Autoclear UV-curable clearcoat and cure it instantly. The system, developed with Belgian electric component maker EREA, can save time and energy, Akzo says.
