Bayer MaterialScience has unveiled a new concept shoe that it has dubbed the “Ecotrekker.” The firm says 90% of an Ecotrekker shoe is made of eco-friendly materials produced by Bayer. For instance, a microcellular polyurethane elastomer used in the outsoles and midsoles is made with up to 70% renewable raw materials.
