Holger Schönherr, a professor of physical chemistry at the University of Siegen, in Germany, has been awarded the Raphael-Eduard-Liesegang Prize by the German Colloid Society. The award honors his achievements in the preparation of organic and polymer surfaces and their analysis by scanning force microscopy.
