ACS GCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable seeks research proposals

Grants include 12-month and 6-month commitments to advance green chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry

The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable (GCIPR) is seeking proposals for research grants to advance green chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry. GCIPR offers four grants of $80,000 each for 12-month commitments for the 2025 topical areas of new methods or strategies for greener peptide synthesis or purification, sustainable organic catalysis, advancing biocatalysis methodologies, and new technologies for efficient manufacturing processes.

Additionally, GCIPR is offering multiple ignition grants of $40,000 each for 6-month commitments for new research directions that are likely to advance sustainable chemistry and processes in the pharmaceutical and allied industries.

Proposals will be accepted from public and private institutions of higher education worldwide and must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 16. For more information, visit acsgcipr.org/grants.
