Call for papers: Northeast Regional Discussion 2025

The meeting will take place Nov. 1 at Worcester State University

The 2025 Northeast Regional Discussion is seeking abstracts. The meeting will take place in Massachusetts on Nov. 1, at Worcester State University.

The theme of the meeting is “Supporting and Advancing Pharmaceutical Innovation and Education in the Northeast.” The 1-day conference will include breakfast, a keynote presentation, nine separate programming tracks, and poster sessions throughout the day. The day will culminate in a plenary session, award presentation, and a networking opportunity.

The symposium sessions will consist of “Advances in Medicinal Chemistry,” “Chemical Education to Position Students for Successful Careers,” “Emerging Trends in Organic Synthesis,” “Exploring Frontiers in Analytical Chemistry: Emerging Trends and Techniques,” “Green Chemistry: Paving the Way for Sustainable Pharmaceutical Innovation,” “Innovations in Chemical Biology for Advancing Pharmaceutical Development,” “Inorganic Chemistry in the Service of Pharmaceutical/Health Sciences,” “Leveraging Computational Chemistry to Propel Innovations in Pharmaceutical Sciences,” and “Polymers/Biologics Applied in Drug Discovery.” The meeting will also feature a general poster session for researchers, including a session specifically dedicated to undergraduate researchers.

The American ChemicalSociety's Meeting Abstracts Programming System (MAPS) opens on May 27 for abstract submissions. The deadline for submissions is Aug. 18. Please visit either the meeting website or MAPS to submit an abstract.
