The ACS Green and Sustainable Chemistry Summer School (GSCSS) is accepting applications through Jan. 3. The summer school is open to graduate students, postdoctoral chemists, and engineers from North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean. Those selected will have the opportunity to partake in a program fully funded by the American Chemical Society.
The programming takes place in Burlington, Vermont, from July 27 to Aug. 1, 2025, where participants will engage in programming that includes attending lectures given by experts on topics relevant to green and sustainable chemistry, participating in interactive study and project sessions, presenting research posters, joining social events, and networking with peers and the GSCSS faculty. The program is designed to help participants enhance their knowledge and skills in green and sustainable chemistry and engineering and create connections with those in the field as well as with former GSCSS alumni.
You can learn more about the GSCSS, the application process, and how to apply online at www.acs.org/greenchemistry/students-educators/summer-school.html.
