Wacker opens plant in China

Wacker-Chemie has opened a spray-drying facility for the production of Vinnapas brand redispersible powders in Zhangjiagang, in China's Jiangsu province. The company says it built the $12 million plant in response to growing Chinese demand for mortar-enhancing adhesive powders.
