Agilent Technologies is acquiring two privately held firms to advance its scientific instrumentation business. Halo Genomics, based in Uppsala, Sweden, adds HaloPlex fast target enrichment technology to Agilent’s own next-generation rapid DNA-sequencing capabilities.
