Vorbeck Materials has expanded capacity for graphene-based conductive inks at its Jessup, Md., facility to more than 40 tons per year. Used in printed-electronics applications, the inks are being sold for one-fifth the price of competing silver-based inks, Vorbeck says. The company plans to open a larger facility in Pocomoke City, Md., in late 2013.
