LakePharma, Blue Sky combine services

LakePharma, a contract research organization specializing in biologics, has acquired Blue Sky BioServices, a specialist in protein and antibody production and assay services. LakePharma claims the acquisition will make it the largest CRO dedicated to biologics in the U.S. Ampersand Capital Partners, which owned Blue Sky, has made an undisclosed investment in LakePharma.
