Mauro Gregorio will become CEO of Dow Corning once Dow Chemical completes its $4.8 billion purchase of Corning’s share of the joint venture. Gregorio is the Dow vice president leading the integration of the silicones producer into Dow. Current Dow Corning Chairman and CEO Robert Hansen plans to retire after a transition period following completion of the deal in June.
