AgroFresh invests in ethylene removal

AgroFresh Solutions is investing $10 million to acquire a 15% stake in Food Freshness Technology Holdings, which is developing ethylene removal filters. Ethylene emitted by plants and flowers can cause over-ripening. AgroFresh specializes in 1-methylcyclopropene-based technologies, which block the effects of ethylene.
