Syngenta debuts new fungicide

Syngenta has launched a new fungicide seed coating, Vayantis, for use on corn, soybean, canola, and other seeds. The firm licensed the active ingredient, picarbutrazox, from Nippon Soda about a year ago. Vayantis controls diseases that can lower germination rates.
