AI drug discovery company Evogene partners with Google Cloud

The Israeli venture hub AION Labs has launched ProPhet, a startup intended to use artificial intelligence to identify small molecules for drug discovery. In a statement, ProPhet CEO Tom Shani says the firm’s technology allows it to screen small-molecule libraries against proteins in various possible conformational states. Meanwhile, the Israeli computational biology company Evogene has partnered with Google Cloud to ramp up the computational power needed for its AI model for designing small-molecule drugs.
