Sabic ups stake in carbon nanotube joint venture

Sabic has acquired a majority stake in Black Diamond Structures, a joint venture it formed in 2014 with carbon nanotube specialist Molecular Rebar Design. The venture plans to commercialize unentangled nanotubes developed at Molecular Rebar, which was founded by former Dow Chemical scientists, to improve the performance of batteries.
