Pharma services firm Ardena changes private equity hands

The private equity firm GHO Capital Partners has acquired Ardena, a pharmaceutical services firm focused on early-stage drug development, from Mentha Capital. Belgium-based Ardena has grown through recent acquisitions, including Syntagon in Sweden and ChemConnection in the Netherlands. Last year, GHO invested in Sterling Pharma Solutions, a British drug services firm, and BioAgilytix, a pharmacokinetics analysis specialist in Durham, North Carolina.
