ClientEarth, along with 14 other environmental groups, has brought its fourth lawsuit in a bid to stop Ineos from building what would be Europe’s largest ethylene cracker, in Antwerp, Belgium. ClientEarth, an environmental law group, argues in the suit that Ineos failed to provide authorities with full details of the proposed plant’s impact on people, nature, and the climate. Ineos says it will defend itself against the action. ClientEarth’s previous lawsuits have been rejected under Belgium’s legal system.
