ICL Will Acquire Henkel Water Unit

Israel Chemicals Ltd. is acquiring Henkel's industrial water treatment business for roughly $90 million. The business had sales of about $77 million in 2006 and will bring annual sales for ICL's performance products division to about $1.1 billion. The sale includes Henkel's French subsidiary Henkel Concorde, which employs about 180 people in sales, service, R&D, and production.
