Compostable packaging firm TIPA raises $25 million

TIPA says its packaging is fully compostable within 180 days.

TIPA, an Israeli developer of compostable flexible packaging, has raised $25 million in a venture capital funding round. The company says its multilayer packaging is made from a blend of polymers that are fully compostable in 180 days. Given that only about 5% of flexible packaging is recycled, compostable versions are environmentally preferable, TIPA says.
