3D printer Arevo gets funding

Arevo used its technology to 3-D print a bicycle frame.

Arevo, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based startup that is developing technology to quickly fabricate high-strength, three-dimensional printed parts, has raised $12.5 million in a series B financing round. The round was led by Asahi Glass and joined by Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, Leslie Ventures, and Khosla Ventures. Asahi says the investment will complement its materials business.
