Who will win this year’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry? We don’t know, but we can make some educated guesses.

Join Executive Editor Laura Howes and a panel of guests for our annual #ChemNobel webinar, coproduced with ACS Webinars.

Chibueze Amanchukwu of the University of Chicago, Steven Suib of the University of Connecticut, and Stacey Paiva, a senior editor at Nature Chemistry, will join in the crystal ball gazing and share their picks for this year’s prize.

The panelists will also be joined by Ching Jin of the University of Warwick, who will present his analysis of the effects of winning prizes on scientific networks.

You can join us and take part in the fun as well. During the interactive broadcast, cast your virtual vote and ask the panelists questions about Nobel-worthy science. Then check back on Oct. 9 to see who, if anybody, predicted correctly.

The webinar will take place at 2 p.m. EDT on Sept. 26 and is free to attend. Register at cenm.ag/nobelwebinar-2024.
