JamesE. Finholt, 91, of Northfield, Minnesota, died Oct. 29, 2024.
“Jim taught chemistry and conducted research at Carleton College from 1960 to 2001. He was an active member of the Northfield, Minnesota, community and with his wife, Beverly, raised their son, Tom, there. In retirement, Jim traveled extensively to ancient sites in Egypt, Ireland, Cambodia, and India. He was an avid bridge player and taught computer courses at the local senior center. Jim's journey was one marked by curiosity, a collaborative spirit, and a zest for life that touched all who knew him.”—Thomas A. Finholt, son
