“Jerry dedicated 45 transformative years not just to teaching chemistry but to igniting curiosity in generations of students at Iona University. His scholarly pursuits in physical and forensic chemistry were complemented by his passion for athletics, environmental policy, and the arts. A devoted family man with unconditional love, Jerry approached life with infectious enthusiasm. The essence of his loving nature will continue to inspire and comfort us.”—Sunghee Lee, friend and colleague
