Kalathil C. Eapen, 87, of Dallas died Sept. 7, 2024.
“My father had such a strong passion for science and discovery. He instilled that same desire to learn in both my sister, who is a pediatric cardiologist, and me, a toxicologist. I remember even when we were children in elementary school, he would often read his copies of C&EN to us to explain new and interesting discoveries and what that could mean for the world.”—Alex Eapen, son
