Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson, 79, of Higganum, Connecticut, died Nov. 11, 2024.

“Dick is remembered for his quiet strength, his joy at being present for the birth of both our children, his pride in their (and my) accomplishments, the way he grounded me when I was freaking out about something, his excitement when we went someplace new and saw things we'd never seen before, and the ways he strove for excellence in all things—professionally, personally, physically, and intellectually.”—Nancy Thompson, wife
