Steven M. Schildcrout, 81, of Youngstown, Ohio, died Dec. 26, 2024.
“Steve was a faculty member of Youngstown State University’s chemistry department from 1969 to 2005, and he continued teaching as a professor emeritus until 2010. His research in mass spectrometry appeared in multiple scientific journals, and in 1989 he was recognized with the Youngstown State University Distinguished Professor Award for his scholarship. He was a proud member of the American Chemical Society for 58 years.”—Jordan Schildcrout, son
