Walter Wolf, 97, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, died Aug. 4, 2024.
“Walter was the consummate scientist whose illustrious career concentrated on the use of soy protein in numerous consumer food products. The author of over 145 articles, Walter presented his work at conferences in Asia, Europe, and South America. A hands-on scientist, he split his time between working in his lab and writing articles. He was also a devoted husband and father. He is fondly remembered for his intellect, kindness, humility, and passion for the advancement of science. He will be missed by all who knew him as a colleague and friend.”—Charles Wolf, son
