Ecovyst and ChiralVision team up for enzyme immobilization

The US catalyst firm Ecovyst will work with the Dutch biocatalysis specialist ChiralVision to advance enzyme mobilization technologies. The firms say they will combine Ecovyst’s strength in silicas with ChiralVision’s functionalization and immobilization know-how to improve enzyme-based biocatalytic processes. In 2023, ChiralVision signed an agreement focused on polymers for enzyme immobilization with the Chinese ion-exchange resin maker Sunresin.
