… and Sells SBR to Lion

DSM is selling its styrene-butadiene rubber business in Baton Rouge, La., to investment firm Lion Chemical Capital. DSM says the business is not in keeping with its focus on performance materials and fine chemicals. Lion purchased Excel Polymers, a rubber compounding business, from PolyOne last year. Lion says it will run the two businesses separately.
