Solutia Emerges From Bankruptcy

Solutia ended four years under bankruptcy court supervision on Feb. 28 after Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and Deutsche Bank reversed their decision to deny the company financing. The three firms had committed to a financing package and then retracted it in January, claiming a change in the credit markets. They agreed to put up the money after Solutia filed a lawsuit.
