DuPont Makes More Solar Panel Polymer

DuPont has expanded a plant in Fayetteville, N.C., that makes polyvinyl fluoride, a raw material for its Tedlar brand film. The expansion is part of a previously announced $295 million project to double capacity for Tedlar, used as a backsheet on photovoltaic panels. DuPont is also expanding film production in Circleville, Ohio.
