Novozymes’ enzyme will help commercialize ethanol from cellulosic material such as straw.

At last week’s U.S. National Ethanol Conference, Danish enzyme producer Novozymes unveiled an enzyme that will make it possible to produce cellulosic ethanol for less than $2.00 per gal.
