Innophos Acquires Nutrients Maker

Innophos has acquired Kelatron, an Ogden, Utah-based maker of bioactive mineral nutrients, for $21 million from private equity firms Hadley Capital and First Analysis. Innophos says Kelatron’s micronutrient products complement its own macronutrients such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus and strengthen its offerings to food, beverage, and dietary supplement customers.
