Málama Composites Joins America’s Cup
San Diego-based Málama Composites has joined Spain’s Green Comm Racing at the America’s Cup sailing competition to promote environmental innovation in the sailing industry. Málama develops and produces rigid polyurethane foams made from soy polyols and castor oil. The foams are used as core materials for boat hulls, surfboards, furniture, and wind turbines.
