Cambrex Expands Again In Charles City

Cambrex has launched a $45 million to $50 million expansion of its active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing site in Charles City, Iowa. The company will add 70 m3 of glass-lined and Hastelloy reactors ranging in size from 7 to 16 m3 along with filter dryers. The firm invested in a $30 million expansion at the plant in 2012.
