Dishman invests in China plant

India's Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals has bought land in Shanghai to build a $10 million pharmaceutical intermediates plant. It expects that the facility will eventually make active pharmaceutical ingredients and be approved by the U.S. FDA. Dishman says it is also studying the possibility of producing pharmaceutical ingredients in Japan with local companies.
