Air Products & Chemicals will expand tungsten hexafluoride production at its facility in Hometown, Pa. The company says the project, to be completed during the first half of the year, will expand capacity by 60%. WF6 is used to deposit tungsten during the fabrication of semiconductors, particularly memory chips, Air Products says.
