The Actega unit of the German specialty chemicals maker Altana has opened a laboratory in Cinnaminson, N.J. The lab will serve customers of the firm’s UV-curable coatings and other products in the graphic arts industry. Actega says the lab, which represents an investment of close to $1 million, can accommodate up to 14 chemists and technicians.
