DuPont has opened a ballistics testing facility for Kevlar body armor at its R&D center in Hyderabad, India. The testing lab is equipped with a ballistic testing range, a 600-metric-ton helmet press, and stab-testing equipment. It’s the fifth such testing center for DuPont. Kevlar-containing protective gear is used in law enforcement, the military, and industry.
