Workers in protective suits spray Virkon S disinfectant to limit spread of avian flu.

DuPont will sell initial supplies of its Virkon S veterinary disinfectant to the United Nations' Food & Agriculture Organization. The disinfectant will meet the short-term needs of Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and African countries in preventing spread of the H5N1 avian influenza virus.
