John Rolando has been named president of Degussa Corp., the North American arm of Germany's Degussa. He will continue to head Degussa's Cyro Industries subsidiary, a maker of methyl methacrylate-based products. Degussa Corp.'s previous president, John Salvatore, left when Degussa sold its construction chemicals business to BASF.
