Sigma buys Pharmorphix

Sigma-Aldrich has acquired Pharmorphix, a privately held firm based in Cambridge, England, that offers the pharmaceutical industry solid-form research services such as salt selection and polymorph investigation. Sigma-Aldrich says Pharmorphix, which had sales over the past 12 months of about $5 million, will broaden the services offered by its SAFC Pharma fine chemicals business.
