BASF Boosts Concrete Additives In India

BASF has opened a concrete admixtures plant in Calcutta, its fourth in India. BASF, which acquired Degussa's construction chemicals business in 2006, says its Indian construction business has been growing at an annual rate of 45% for the past five years, driven mainly by public sector infrastructure projects.
