Reaxa has sold its metal-scavenging business to Johnson Matthey for an undisclosed sum. Reaxa says the deal, which involves QuadraPure and QuadraSil scavengers for the drug industry, will allow it to concentrate on developing its immobilized nickel catalysts for pharmaceutical chemical production. Johnson Matthey says the new products complement its Smopex line of scavengers.
